And inside the awesome BBT place was fresh noodle soup, games and the best milk tea I have had in Edmonton period. Very delicious and worth the drive south. What was awesome was that W and I parked near Connor’s road and on the hill top, looked out on the downtown skyline and had a really really late evening chat like till 3:30AM. Super super peaceful.
W made me an omelette sandwich for lunch while we watched the Olympic opening ceremonies!
Went with W to this newish BB tea place on Calgary trail (really really south). And it was awesome! Wish this was more central but whatever. And I realized how limited my point and shoot is compared to my DSLR in exposing correctly, as I couldnt get it to expose right for the restaurant signs.
Takoyaki balls at same place. Definitely nowhere near what Japan had to offer and lots of ginger inside for some reason. Another sadface. Coupled with the crappy ending to the Red Lights movie we saw, it was a sadface evening all around. Good to hang out with S though!
Went for bubble tea with S at this place on Calgary trail. Very unimpressive and mostly milk in my tea. I can tell now what good bubble tea is by the original milk tea that Hong Kong cafe’s seem to make so well. Sad face.
