I am a practicing clinician, a recent doctoral graduate who finally graduated school but will never leave school, a huge technology lover, a man constantly fighting off the fat, and a father.
I changed to a different URL because the old one was just way too career specific and not reflective of the multi-faceted direction I seem to be taking my life towards. Also, I felt that it might be seen as reflective of the profession as a whole, and I wanted to be clear that this blog is simply a personal collection of my thoughts, rather than a litigation nightmare that it might be interpreted as, being reflective of all professionals in the collective group of school psychologists. I know that’s a far stretch for a lot of people, but I also know that the internet is filled with people of all sorts of backgrounds, and I’d rather just be safe. And really, the URL is just reflective of who I am: fabulous. At any rate, first post on my new home!
W made the most unreal BBQ pork and choy for dinner. It was so freaking good, its no wonder I am having trouble watching my weight. The pork was perfectly tender and the sauce exquisite. And um there was vegetables…haha. I am eating like a king here.
I miss my Playbook so much. It still has the worse security exploit ever- as in it can’t be password locked even though its supposed to be from a company that prides itself in being the most secure OS platform. Hoping that the new OS 2.1 will fix that, as its clearly a software glitch not hardware. Other than that, I love that I can use my phone as the keyboard. I set it up exactly like this at a work meeting yesterday and typed my notes on my tablet. Noticed that I am so use to the phone keyboard that I don’t have to look at it anymore to type! Woo! And the best part is that the next iteration of bridge will support text messages, which is the biggest form of text based messaging that I communicate with my friends. Definitely excited about that.
