Just finished making tong yun to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with W. We had a bit of mooncake (well I had most of the cake :P), and then had some tong yun, which is basically this ginger/cane sugar based dessert soup with dough balls that can be stuffed with peanut butter. I quite like the gingery taste, it has a slight kick to it. I also like making my balls into sea creatures, so our soup had sea turtles, fish and a sea slug. It also had a cow and a lizard. Needless to say, I was the only one eating those ones. I also managed to be so excited opening the mooncake that I sliced right through the cake/packaging/my finger. I think that’s a first for me.  Speaking of food, my dad made me a really solid meaty spaghetti that I topped with some cheese and sausage. Right in the middle of my night class, I heated it up and had such a fantastic lecture with a very full stomach. Quite obviously I am not following any sort of diet regime. 
This morning was crazy. It was absolutely gorgeous outside for a run, with a great sunny noon hour and a very chill route. I liked it. I don’t think I am losing weight as fast as I would like to, but I am losing it, just slowly. I really want to be much smaller now.
