I am a registered psychologist, a doctoral candidate who has not graduated, a huge technology lover, a man constantly fighting off the fat, and a father.
dun dun dun- these are the classrooms I will be spending the next six weeks in. I remember years ago attending class here for one of the ecology courses and noping out when I saw how it was assessed. Lots of stress in these halls.
Sitting in cultural psychology. Its like sitting in a grad class – he really tries to shape our perspective to break the concrete notions of universality and question why our behavior exists. He’s also avoiding a text book- great in the idea that he said that these are far too stagnant to use as knowledge evolves and also saves me tons of money
Perception psych- this is reminding me of pre-Med/Law/Pharm years when I was trying to get into programs. I’m so glad I am done that. I managed to find an older copy of my text entirely in PDF. So happy. Im burning throught he readings right now.
My new home- I was kind of sad I didn’t get to have classes in the new sciences building and now I sort of do- its adjacent to the Bio Sci building. I wish the Education Building would get some funding to revamp their building
Its got lots of really neat views- I like the structure inside.
I would love to work in one of these super open offices.
Can see downtown from inside, right across the river valley.
Panicked and failed the first question on this DAT prep exam. I thought my perceptual reasoning was pretty good but I guess not haha. So glad I don’t have to prep for an entrance exam and hope I’ll make it one day. Ew.
Went for a run in the cold rainy/cloudy river valley. This is the hill that I am ok with.
This is the hill I am not ok with. This is the monster set of Royal Glenora stairs.
Line of runners dying to get to the top Its a killer burn and I was dry heaving a lot.
Blocked off the high level bridge from my run. They are doing some construction here.
Couple cheered me on coming up the hill. I was positively out of breath but it felt fantastic at the end.
W makes a wonderful carrot beef stew. This is like so so so comfort food for me.
