I am a practicing clinician, a recent doctoral graduate who finally graduated school but will never leave school, a huge technology lover, a man constantly fighting off the fat, and a father.
Thsi treadmill was actually pretty nice despite it being just one of three pieces of equipment in the spartan fitness room at our hotel. It would absorb the impact of my strides and was kind of like running on grass. I’m not sure if it was supposed to do that or if it was just old though haha.
So I basically ripped the top of the Monster device and covered the IR blaster with electrical tape. It was still skipping with the tape on top of the plastic window but putting the tape on the sensor directly made it stop skipping and let me use just the iPod controls for media control. I like it a lot now. One connection to a full library of music.
Stairs today. Still very difficult for me but for sure a lot better than my first set this year where I was going to throw up.
I have to do cardio and lower body workouts for the next two weeks- I’ve self diagnosed my left elbow to have Tennis elbow (that’s what I will stay at until further notice). It come sfrom repetitive strain and I bet its from a lot of the press exercises. Its quite sore and I really just started paying attention to it in the last week. It will be fun just doing not massive upper body lifts but its kind of boring doing the same exercise every day.
