Last run in Banff- I’ve taken a real liking to this treadmill set up and I’m going to do something similar when I make my own home gym. I also decided to divide my run into five minute sets (without breaks) so that it was easier for me psychologically to feel I am achieving on the treadmill instead of just thinking how much time was left in my run. I hate that part of running on a treadmill.
Our weather back from Banff was pretty awful, especially around Calgary.
Everything was wet and muddy so the windshield kept getting dirty. Fortunately it was above freezing so there were no ice patches. I’d much rather take the sludge than ice.
Really good waffle breakfast at Ricki’s. The last of our free breakfast coupons. I felt that it was worth getting the package because of the breakfast.
W had a simpler breakfast
I picked this up at a massive discount- it was 9 bucks from 129 bucks. Its kind of a POS, because its supposed to be motion controlled by an IR sensor that is way too sensitive and reacts to even small shadow changes from clouds. It offers power and audio from a 30 pin connector though, and my iPod classic is perfect for that because the headphone jack is broken. I’m going to tape the IR sensor and just use the mechanical controls on the iPod’s clickwheel instead.
