I am a practicing clinician, a recent doctoral graduate who finally graduated school but will never leave school, a huge technology lover, a man constantly fighting off the fat, and a father.
This weekend has been pretty much grey skies everywhere- with snow. In May. Its been really cold and really non springy. My spring classes start tomorrow and I’d love for some green color to come out, so if that’s what it takes to get water to the grass, I can deal with it.
Shrimp roll at IKEA as we shop for wedding material and casual Saturday strolling around. I always thought this was a giant ball of mayonnaise underneath the shrimp but it was hard boiled eggs.
I got a monster cinnamon bun that looked quite decent before but I requested extra icing. I know. Bad food decisions in life.
Lunch at Mikado southside. Not too bad and pretty good flavors overall.
Mine was more tempura but a special kind that I didn’t really understand- the flakes seemed to be different than the regular tempura I usually have. The beef shogoyaki was divine! Real nice flavors.
M and I went crazy at Arby’s as we saddled up for a horror movie night- we watched Paranormal Activity- the Marked Ones. The Arby’s roast beef sandwiches were actually really good and the buns were so sweet and soft. I sound like I have an eating problem. The curly fries were also really tasty. I’d quite like it for fast food. I ate all of these sandwiches.
Action Cam in the gym. This is the view I get on my downward rep on the squat machine. Pretty decent workout today.
I switched leg press to the first exercise in my circuit set instead of squats. The leg press takes a lot more energy for me, so I wanted to have full energy right in the beginning of the set for the leg press.
The Sony Live View remote hanging out with my Nike+ Sportwatch – this was kind of crazy but I wanted to see what it was like to wear all of them at once. It was kind of uncomfortable and unbreathable.
Checking out subwoofers in London Drugs. The Klipsch 15 inch sub on the left is ginormous! Foot to scale. I’d love to hear how it sounds.
