While waiting for a ride I decided to hook up the university with some Sleeping Dogs on my laptop. Ran well. Picture looked terrible.

Salmon bowl at Banzai. Not bad, not amazing but what you expect from a fast food restaurant. Not like Sumo Sumo.

Studying with W today at Tims on campus and I got a freaking ticket. I’m emphasizing this POV because the only sign near my car is one that says I can’t walk off the property. Obviously. there’s no 1 hour max signs anywhere near my car.
Really enjoying my desktop setup for Battlefield 3.
Random pick up- PM with NCIX and boom got it for less than half off! There have been two things I’ve been dying to upgrade – one was the CPU cooler so I could overclock it. The Zalman CNPS12X was the most ridiculous and slickest looking cooler I had ever seen and I pretty much fell in love with it and its beautiful nickel coated body. Next will be the keyboard- I’m looking for sales on the Cooler Master Quickfire Ultimate blue switch mechanical keyboard. I really wanted the Corsair K70 but its blue switch version only comes with a two tone silver on black keyboard and I wanted an all black one.
Ripping apart SF to put in the new CPU cooler. Was not happy that I had to take apart everything for this.
Want to emphasize how freaking huge the Zalman CNPS12x really is compared to the stock Intel cooler for my e6750 CPU. I’m expecting big things from this
She’s all running and ready to cool down my overclock!. You’d think it would be loud but its not. Its the POS Cooler Master 120mm fan that I bought thats really loud. Right now airflow moves up from the bottom and out the top. It also shoots out the front from the CPU cooler and front fan, and the back from the power supply and GPU fans.
Its actually really really quiet and has enormous cooling capability. It just barely clears my full size ATX case though. Its a monster and it even makes my 7970 look small.
Overclocked it to 3.6 ghz! That’s a 35% increase over the stock speed. Wasn’t stable though. Right now running it at 3.4 GHz and its plenty stable- ran BF3 much smoother and was able to increase a few more settings. Going to have to tweak it a bit. This is pretty much all I’m going to be doing with my 2007 E6750 chip until next year when I get a new round of benefits kicking in and get to replace my entire motherboard and CPU. Edit: I just realized that at how well it is handling games right now, I really don’t need to upgrade my CPU at all. This saves me a whole bunch of coin cause my motehrboard and RAM would also need to be replaced. Nice job Zalman. Very pleased with the cooler so far. I might leave it at 3.4 Ghz- I kind of want to push it to 3.5 Ghz but its running perfectly right now.
