I am a practicing clinician, a recent doctoral graduate who finally graduated school but will never leave school, a huge technology lover, a man constantly fighting off the fat, and a father.
Malaysian food for dinner- the milk tea was good- reminds me of my first meals in Singapore with H. What a blast.
This was good- roti with curry beef. I think I’ve lost my excitement for roti- its still good to me but its not as mind blowing as when I first had it.
Assorted appetizers.
All the dishes coming out
I can’t remember what this one was but it was kind of meh- really really citrusy
I think this was pad thai- ok, nothing amazing.
The most disappointing thing for me was the Hainan chicken- I thought it would be mind blowing given that its from Malaysia but it was just ok. Maybe I prefer HK style Hainan chicken instead.
Huge tarpon in the restaurant aquarium- I have decided this is the fish that I want to have in my home.
Dinner at Cha for Tea
I always love the ambience in this place- its nice that they let students study here too.
Pork ribs- really like the taste and delivery here
Fried pork chop
Dried fish on choy
Fried fish with tea sauce- really nice and light
Tofu with braising sauce
Big milk tea on the side
This was really good but I can’t remember what it was.
Really nice aesthetics inside
Egg dessert- it was a nice multi-course meal for a reasonable price I can’t get back in Alberta.
Nice little sports HK cafe
Some ham spaghetti dish- I was pretty mind blown when I saw how common western dishes were in HK cafes.
Chili soup was really spicy and delish
Beef stew in soup
Of course cold HK milk tea
This was good- mustard pork chop- it was huge portions
In-laws made a really nice lamb chop and spaghetti dinner for W’s bday
Although rather spartan looking, this Northern Chinese restaurant was one of my fave places to hit up. Food was delish.
Hot pot at Northern Chinese restaurant
Hot and sour soup
Gyoza
My fave- lamb dumplings for just five bucks.
Green tea and reb bean smoothie
Making fresh dumplings in the front of the store
Beef and preserved veggie rice noodle soup for breakfast
Ham and macaroni soup
Corned beef and egg sandwiches- it was so cheap- if you spend ten bucks you get a free egg sandwich
Lots of food for 25 bucks
Have to go home- Pearson airport
It always blows my mind how big GTA is – it just keeps going on and on
Wow, so much great food. I hope you enjoyed it to the utmost! 🙂
Thanks! I sure did.
Great to hear 🙂
