Had lunch with O and S at New Asian Villiage- SO SO GOOD. All you can eat East Indian with really good quality food that is so much more than you get at most all you can eat places (AFAIK since I’m not East Indian and would not be able to tell the difference). Had a really great meal with the guys.
I met some window washers and they let me come up to the roof top to watch how they do their work! These guys are ridiculously crazy and I’m glad there’s people out there that are brave enough to do this kind of work, because I certainly could not. It was really insane. Its just a harness and a rope- as the guy said, there’s no room for mistakes in this line of work. Just so so impressed. The guy was super nice too. He told me a lot about how he got in the job and what it was like to work in it. I love talking to people in other trades, its just so different than my everyday interactions I am used to. Great guy. He showed me how they anchor the rope at the top of the roof- it was pretty insane really to think just one rope to keep you there. Definitely top 5 in jobs I simply could not do. I’m so glad I can meet people like this. Its just so invigorating to me to learn about these things. And he was totally open to my photoblogging self.
