I am a registered psychologist, a doctoral candidate who has not graduated, a huge technology lover, a man constantly fighting off the fat, and a father.
Setting up midterms for the fourth term in a row- I used to take a lot of undergrad intro courses here in first and second year. Biology 208 and EDPY 200 I think. Some great times with great friends back in the day for sure. Now I get to be on the other end and I can’t say I miss the test anxiety. I’m glad I’m done with mass testing like that (for now!)
Squatting in the dark. I thought my squatting would help my running but I am absolutely DYING right now after a hard set of stairs that took a lot more out of me than I remember it doing before.
Going out for lunch with family over family day at Good Buddy one of my fave Chinese restaurants in Edmonton.
Gold medal game early in the morning- I really got to see my friends more after the nighmare of winter term ends. JQ made monkey bread which was really just buttery cinnamon buns. I of course ate my fill.
TAing my fourth term of classes ended this week. Had a great time in this room and only had 11ish students! So small. It was a real blessing to have so few students this term because it made marking so much easier with less students. I’m gonna miss these guys- they were a great bunch and there were quite a few passionate souls here for the field.
I don’t usually goto Tim Hortons in CAb but when I do…its always like this. At least a fifteen to twenty minute wait. Worth it for the lazy soul that doesn’t walk out to the other locations and a blessing for those in need of caffeine.
Walking out to my car at night and passing the pretty lighting on campus at the Kaye Edmonton Clinic.
Health Sciences LRT station at night.
These IBM guys came in to test out wireless router locaitons to find the most optimal places for wireless coverage. It was really cool, I’ve never seen this before- this is a portable power source on the same little cart we have in our car trunk.
And a router at a potential placement position. Cool stuff.
Picture taken on my first digicam, the DSC-F77, hence the ugly front flash. I DIED today on the stairs- either it was the full stomach or my really bad conditioning- either way it was kind of shocking. My running gear is gonna get good use this weekend- its going to be plus six degrees this Saturday and I am determined to get a spring run out there and get the heck away from the treadmill. Sennheisser buds, wrist sweat band from last year’s Spartan race, Nike Sportwatch Plus and iPod nano. This weekend.
