Its official, Sony is selling off the VAIO brand. I died a little inside. I can’t say enough how much of an experience the VAIO brand brings to me- its so much more than just a brand to me. I’m that infatuated and a consumer good slave.
To commemorate Sony pulling out of the PC business after 18 years from 1996, I want to show my two little guys that I managed to grab after years of yearning for a piece of this former giant’s action. After lusting for the VAIO S series for years, I picked up the 15 inch model in 2012 and its been absolutely fantastic- easily maintained I’ve done my fair share of fixer uppers with it and its just been great with a magnesium body that just screams class. I guess now I will never have a white VAIO model- its been suggested that the VAIO brand will pull out of everywhere except Japan. On the right, the VAIO DUO13- an absolutely beautiful model that just stole my heart when it came out. A shame really that Sony is completely selling it off.
Sony MDR-7520 headphones bringing that favorite magnesium material to my desk with great sound and my DUO 13.
Studying with my VAIO overlooking the city.
Somebody is absolutely balling – I got to park by this exquisite beast of a machine, the GTR- its got about 5 times more power than my Fit and costs about 12 time more. And I still love my Fit.
