OMFG. Ok not quite OMFG but kind of- Sony has released the Xperia Z Ultra, their first take on the phablet genre. Not quite the home run that I was looking for because of a few omissions- namely removable battery and totally missing LED on the camera, but a generally very sexy device. 6.44 inches in size, it dwarfs my already large Note II by a good margin and maintains a super slim, super light and waterproof body that is just dying to be held by my hands in an ultimate shift to Sony fanboyism. I really want to go for it, but I am very very happy with my Note II. The removable battery life, super long battery life, great colors, repsonsiveness overall, great headphone amp and APT-X bluetooth sound are just some of the things that make me love my current phone. But that Z Ultra. Dang. Very impressed Sony. What a design! Up top is a view side by side with the Xperia Z, definitely one of my favorite designs so far this year on top of the HTC One.
I’ve been eyeing the smart watch category for a while now, hoping to have a good means of controlling my phone through an easier method then trying to always haphhazardly rip my tablet phone out my pocket. The Smartwatch 2 look promising even as I charge up my first generation device Sony Ericsson Liveview and recall tons of horrific disconnects and overall crappy UI/performance issues. I really hope this one will be a slam out the park, because it would be really helpful to get notifications right where I can see them on my wrist.
The Sony SBH52 is freaking hilarious and awesome. Phones have become so big that a mini phone is now available to use- very good for the Xperia Z Ultra. I wouldn’t mind tryign this out because its a very nice upgrade to the SE MW600 prior, but there’s no understanding if its APT-X capable and I have pretyt much decided to just do wired with my Walkman Z separately from my Note II. Really enjoying the push of accessories from Sony.
Massive sprinkler accident in our condo
Lots of wet drywall all over the ground
The wrecking crew came over and started tearing down all the water damaged material
Tons of rain in the afternoon- fortunately our building brought its own rain to the party
Went to Nomiya because we became fed up with cleaning- or rather W did haha. Ramen was nice.
Curry katsudon was even nicer- its really good at Nomiya
Drying everything out with tons of commerical fans
All the wrecked wood flooring from adjacent condos
