I am a practicing clinician, a recent doctoral graduate who finally graduated school but will never leave school, a huge technology lover, a man constantly fighting off the fat, and a father.
Really enjoying walking in the Edmonton Clinic. Big huge grand ceilings and an openess that will just look great in the cold winter days. Glad I can shortcut through here to work on winter days for sure.
Sis made a really good chow mai fun with soup when I hung out on Friday. Very delish and the right amount of salty choy.
Having some delicious coconut Kaya spread I picked up in Singapore while hanging with H. Man how times have flown. It still seems like it was just yesterday where I was complaining about the hot heat. And now I am complaining about Edmonton’s barely hot but too hot for me heat now.
Went to Tasty Choice with mum and sis to hangout on a hot sunny afternoon. I really like it here, its as close as I can think of to Hong Kong cafes in Edmonton. (too bad the prices aren’t as cheap though!)
inside the cafe. Definitely a great drink and food spot.
Their Hokkaido ramen bowl. Ok, not super great but the broth and noodles were alright. The meat left a little to be desired. The original milk tea had a little too much cream for my liking, but I do enjoy it. I really miss the milk tea in HK for sure.
Played Jenga with mum and sis and mum decided to go crazy with the top pieces. Usually its me doing the silly things like this, didn’t expect mum to do it haha.
Picked up some food at Wok n’Go, a place with fresh Chinese food thats not all that bad for Western Chinese food. Very busy today, this place must be doing well.
